Mavis is 79 years young and has lost 10kg in 6 months. Mavis feels healthier, happier and full of energy.
We think that as we get older it is too late to change things. However, the truth is, it is never too late!
Mavis leads a super busy lifestyle volunteering for the local school, the police in the community watchhouse and works as a merchandiser. Mavis came to see me in March worried about her health. She knew she had gained a few extra kilos and wanted to get a bit fitter. So together we made a plan to make a few changes.
I am so proud of you Mavis – you tackle life with such an awesome attitude.
As we get older our health, fitness and well being priorities change. It is more important about keeping active, feeling good and being able to tackle everyday chores with ease.
The changes only have to be small. We know that we are not going to be elite athletes and have a body of a 20 year old again, but that shouldn’t stop us from being mindful of what we eat and taking care of ourselves.
Age is no barrier – it’s a limitation you put on your mind!
